Gorgonzola Dolce

Younger, Softer and Extra Creamy version of Gorgonzola Piccante

In 1870s Novara, north of Milan, cheesemakers perfected the blue moldy cheese recipe that the French had been using for some years. It was the birth of globally renowned 'Gorgonzola', now a household name. Our Gorgonzola Dolce is a 'beast that needs taming', as it can be highly addictive. Excellent mixed into warm Gnocchi or simply slathered on a crusty bread & served with a full bodied or sweet red wine. The only problem is that one bite leads to another, and another, and another... Gorgonzola Dolce can get us through our rougher and weaker moments, and is a great mood enhancer. So forget about ice cream, chocolate, or chocolate ice cream: grab a spoon and start digging into the white and blue-dotted curd.
