From our Brooklyn outpost in Greenpoint, we build the marketing campaigns and distribution strategies that keep these unique cheeses relevant. We are more than an importer: we are a one-stop solution for authentic, high-quality Italian cheeses.

Ambrosi was built to honor, elevate and preserve tradition: culinary tradition, community tradition, and the drive to keep experimenting and innovating. In the U.S., we select, import and distribute specialty cheeses from a small group of partners we have chosen and for whom we are the sole importer. We recognized these makers for three reasons: A) they are family-run, like us; B) they have passionate, professional management and cheesemaking teams; and C) they are driven to constantly produce truly exceptional and unique cheeses.
Without Ambrosi's support, some of these cheeses would risk becoming obsolete in the U.S., jeopardizing the local communities of producers and stakeholders who devote their lives to this craft.
