We are committed to promoting a circular economy. Our goal is to reduce our Waste Footprint primarily by reducing the amount of plastic we use in our packaging.

✔︎ plastic package thickness reduction

  • Reduction of 28% of plastic on several packs;

  • 6 tons of plastic saved per year;

  • Undergoing tests for further reduction (average of 27%).

✔︎ Paper and cardboard packs

  • 2025 Target: 100% of primary packs (cheese wrap)

  • Most of cardboard secondary packs are made from FSC materials (correctly-managed forests)

✔︎ Carbon black

  • Difficulty for some automated recycling systems to recognize the type of material.

  • Ambrosi has removed 100% of carbon black  from its packs.

✔︎ Landfill policy

  • NO waste generated by Ambrosi is allowed to be disposed of in landfill sites.
